Course
Immediate implant placement can be spectacular, or unforgiving, when planning, biology, soft tissues, and prosthetics are not perfectly aligned. This lecture presents a practical, step-by-step roadmap to make immediate implants predictable in everyday practice, from pre-operative digital planning to final esthetic delivery. Starting with case selection and risk profiling, we will translate CBCT and intraoral data into a restorative-driven implant position that respects hard-tissue anatomy and anticipates future soft-tissue behavior.
Through multiple clinical cases and surgical variations, the session will highlight technique choices that protect the buccal profile, preserve ridge architecture, and reduce complications in the esthetic zone. A dedicated segment will focus on soft-tissue strategies contour design, grafting options, and provisionalization protocols to program the peri-implant mucosa rather than simply “hope” for stability. Finally, we will connect the surgical phase to the prosthetic finish: emergence profile control, abutment selection, restorative material considerations, and clinical checkpoints that turn immediate placement into long-term success.
Attendees will leave with a clear planning-to-prosthetic workflow, decision trees for common scenarios, and repeatable protocols to achieve stable tissues, functional integration, and high-impact esthetics, fast, safely, and predictably.
