Workshop
Workshop Overview
Periodontal surgery today is defined by precision, minimal invasiveness, and respect for biological principles. This hands-on workshop will demonstrate how modern microsurgical concepts and evidence-based protocols can be translated into daily clinical practice, drawing directly from the S3 Clinical Practice Guidelines.
Participants will develop practical skills in:
Microsurgical access flap surgery: Enhancing visibility, surgical control, and healing through refined techniques and delicate tissue handling.
Regenerative approaches: Applying defect-specific protocols and wound stabilization strategies to achieve predictable regenerative outcomes.
Targeted resective surgery: Performing site-specific pocket reduction with precise tissue and bone modeling, supported by advanced instrumentation for hard- and soft-tissue management.
Particular emphasis will be placed on ergonomics, precision-driven devices, and advanced instrumentation that enhance the efficiency, predictability, and reproducibility of minimally invasive periodontal surgery.
Through expert demonstrations and hands-on practice, participants will develop a contemporary surgical toolbox that can be confidently integrated into everyday clinical practice to deliver state-of-the-art periodontal care.
