Outline:
This workshop provides Updates on clinical indications for choosing simultaneous or delayed bone augmentation. It encourages a research-informed mindset and builds a culture of using evidence from comparative studies to guide clinical decision-making—the Hands-on component during the workshop allows participants to practice the techniques discussed.
Aim and Learning Outcome(s):
1: To clarify clinical indications of simultaneous versus delayed bone augmentation.
2: To compare the contour stability and healing outcomes between sites augmented with a Xenograft-Collagen block substitute and those grafted with particulate DBBM.
3: To demonstrate the impact of stabilizing graft materials and collagen membranes with pins on volume stability post-flap closure and suturing.
